Headed out last night with friends and ended up getting into some nice fish. Wipers and wallets were liking jigs and ringworms. Here is my best one from the evening.

I did not know they had Wipers in Iowa. How common are they? How big do they get in your area? I have caught some real big ones in Missouri. They fight like a freight train.
The ones we catch in our parts are regularly stocked by the DNR. I think the state record is 13 pounds, but the ones we usually catch are between 4-10 pounds.
