Wade Fishing Has Its Challenges

All I heard was the big splash. I had no idea what it was until I reviewed my GoPro. It was a decent size spinner shark.

Looks like fun though Pug! Nice video. Makes me want to fish saltwater more, that’s for sure.

I think my day on the water would have ended at that point.

I was a little freaked out. I heard it and knew it was big, assumed it was a shark, but wasn’t sure.

Now I’ll admit I am bad at eyeballing, but I’d say it was about 8′ and 50 yards away. He was in deeper water where I wanted to be, but I’ll have to wait for low tide. It drops off out there.

I’m far more concerned with stingrays. I shuffle my feet and they are skittish, but every time I wade I see 1-4 of them.

I’ve seen plenty of small sharks swim past me at about 10 feet away, not scary at all.
