Hi Team,
If there is anyone on here visiting New Zealand, get in touch!!
A couple years ago I started a small guided hunting side hustle in New Zealand.
We have a lot less regulation around what wild animals can be taken and when, no tags or seasons to worry about..
I tailored the experiences towards local father/son teams, or anyone basically who has little to no experience in the hunt and gather space. It was not designed for trophy hunters who pay thousands, looking to shoot an animal that had just been released into a paddock, that they simply drove up to and shot.
I have access to some outstanding, safe, private land in the North Island with plenty of wild deer, approximately 2 hours drive from the main international airport.
It was very well received and I had some excellent feedback.
I stopped doing it as I had too many things on my plate.
I’m testing the water to see if there would be any uptake on kicking it back off, offering my services in an adhoc way, to anyone who is travelling in my fine country who wants to experience hunting in New Zealand.
I take you through the full experience, firearm safety, sighting in/familiarisation on a range, bush stalking, fly camping under the stars if you so wish, animal retrieval and field dressing. It’s even more exciting if it’s done at the end of March, start of April during our red deer roar. I offer the full experience, from the bush to the plate.
Anyway, thanks for reading, my page marketing my services with a few pictures and videos of my services is on instagram: _wildnz_
Have a look, if you like what you see and down my way reach out via instagram, it would be good to have a chat to see if I can help.
Attached game camera footage for inspiration, it’s not a deer farm..
Thanks,
Mark.
