If you aren’t going to the shows this year the Virtual Ice Show is a great way to see the new products without leaving your couch. Starts tomorrow and goes all day everyday through Sunday on Smackdown Outdoors’ facebook page. All the big companies and many of the smaller niche companies as well. 30 minute spots.

It’s not covering any show. It’s their own show. They started it three years ago when all the shows were cancelled because of the pandemic and people really enjoyed it so they kept it going. It’s the third year they’ve done it. The vendors either come into Thorne Bros and sit down with the hosts upstairs at TB’s or do a podcast type interview/demonstration for their 30 minute spot.

Each company has promo codes for deals just like the in person shows also and they do quite a few giveaways.

As I understand it, the Thorne show is at Adrenalin Sports Center in Ramsey – saturday and sunday

The newest lures have some cool new names with similar designs to things that have been on the market for years. The new names bring new pricing though smash

Good to know. I will have to check it out. Thorne Brothers has a bunch of great seminars on many different topics that are worth listening to. So much better to lesson to than a talk show on your way to work. Great channel.

The Smackdown Outdoors show is good. Usual cast giving “unbiased reviews” but I just look past that. Starts at 1pm today.

Yep. Just like any podcast or sporting show that has sponsors. Take it how you will. There’s not too many companies out there making truly low quality stuff within the major brands so it’s mostly preference. It’s a good time killer if you’re stuck at home or have nothing to do and want to see some ice fishing talk. Literally all day for each day of the weekend.

Just put the $10-$15 admission and however many $8 beers/bloodies you have at a regular ice show towards em and they are free! rotflol
