I read many favorable reviews for Viper Custom Tackle, so I ordered some Venom Spoons. Pictures on the Viper site don’t do them justice, really nicely painted, can’t wait to see them in action.
However, I am disappointed in the hardware, i.e. split rings and swivels used. One of the spoons has a split ring that is three times the size used on the other two spoons, one of the split rings looks all stretched out, and not tight. Swivels take some effort to turn. I don’t think dragging them in the water will allow the worm harness to turn. Looks like I will be replacing hardware on all of them.
Anybody order these and have these issues?
