The way our house sits one side never gets any sunshine and the vinyl siding is getting some mold growth what actually works to remove this?

It’s typically algae not mold that you see. There is product out there that you can spray on and hose off or you can pressure washer it off just make sure you go with the seems so water doesn’t get behind it

Good ol’ Dawn, hot water and a brush works for me. Rinses right off with the garden hose. End up doing it every other year or so.

I did like Jake on mine, worked out ok. If your less inclined to do it yourself give dallas at 1st American a call, he has a soft wash system that works on siding and roofing and the pictures he took of a few he’s done look pretty amazing. I don’t think your too far away for him.

Simple green or Jungle Jake and a scrub brush works best.Tried others that cost a lot more and not worth it.
Wet down siding, then scrub brush with SG/JJ and rinse off.No problems even on breezy days. That other stuff is listed as corrosive, and you do not want that on you or vehicles.

Just did my whole house last fall, used some stuff I got at Fleet Farm in a green bottle that you hook to your hose. Spray it on then I used a car wash like brush on a 15′ painters pole to scrub the whole house. 10 year old house looks new again. You can not believe the difference. I used 2 bottles on a 2 story house.

A pressure washer does wonders if you own one. Use the flat spray nozzle.

But you wouldn’t catch me three stories up doing it lol
