i’ve installed 3 tile floors in various kitchens of ours over the years. we did LVT planks in our newest kitchen and i’m going to be honest, its blows cold tile out of the water IMO.
We used Mannington Adura Flex floating floor over hardwood.
The only thing we did was screw the hardwood down to reduce any existing squeaks.
