Absolutely dominated the Bengals. Teddy got a couple of series. All in all a good day for Vikings football.

As a Packer fan why would you poke the bear and open yourself up to a steady stream of comments? Nobody dislikes the Queens more than myself but they did what they needed to do today and put away a bad team early. What more do you need to see from them? All Packer fans please face facts. MN is a contender this year.

I was busy watching my packers lose but the Vikings score sure seems to suggest a butt-whooping, even if their opponent was lousy.

Of course they’re a contender. I think they’ll find a new way to break all your Purple Hearts in the playoffs but enjoy the season vikes fans.

They might break our hearts. But they have won the division 2 of the last 3 years. Packers are a one trick pony, Bears are terrible and the Lions are the Lions. I don’t bleed Purple but I like where they stand.

BTW, anybody see the end of the Patriot Steelers game? yay

Anyone catch the Pit NE game? If you missed it, that is your Super Bowl champ. The vikes have a chance to get there, but I give them a 5% chance against Tom or Ben. Easily game of the year!

I agree, it was a poor effort by Carolina and they should have beaten the pack by at least 10 more. When Rodgers throws 3 interceptions and the Packers defense gave Newton 4 TDs, Carolina had plenty of opportunities to widen the gap. Carolina obviously was phoning it in.

Wait. Were we talking about the Vikings?

Fun game ending to watch for sure. Pitt loses for the same reason Vikes should have won the Carolina game.

Teddy’s first pass is an INT. Basically gave up 7 there. Vikes should have shut out the Bengals.

    Looking forward to next week!

Yep, that game is what the NFL wishes every game could be. Premier matchup that lived up to it’s billing. Looked like the Steelers had it until NE scores near the end and Hines field falls silent…even thought I saw a cup thrown when they scored. Then Gronk get’s the 2 pointer and “pistol slings” the fallen defender. Then somehow NE gives up a 70 yard pitch and catch and it looks like Steelers have an 80 yard 2 play touchdown drive except…”he did not complete the process”… doah

We have just as much of a chance as The patriots or Steelers. We play ball. Our offense is in sync and our defense is solid. Quit selling the vikings short all the time. Lets have some faith. #Skol

Solid match up of a game, very unfortunate ending, but honesty being a lions fan (sadly) a part of me doesn’t even feel sympathy for Pitt. Still Nothing bothers me more than the stupid process rule. Just makes the question of what’s a “catch” so much more grey

I will say though, THANK GOD the Vikings atleast won the Division and that GB lost. If I had to see another year with Rodgers in the playoffs i’d freak.

Yeah that tipped-pass INT really quieted a feel-good moment. It sucks his return didn’t turn out well (aside from the INT he just looked out of sync with WR’s) but it wasn’t much for “game experience” as both teams were on their 2nd-stringers and the game was out of reach.

However…the INT did set up the Bengals to ruin the shut-out. I saw a graphic before they scored that the Vikings hadn’t shut out an opponent since 1993! I would’ve never guessed it was that long ago!

Is this a reference to the two measly super bowl titles in 26 consecutive years of having 2 record setting, transcendent, hall of fame superstar quarterbacks?

I agree 1 game but to be a realist not so sure much or any past 1.

Yesterdays game was fun to watch a win but it was the Bengals which are not too far from the Browns if you get my drift. It was actually a poor showing IMHO for the Vikings as far as consistency and errors. Kenums first long pass should have been an interception which looked like the same play he was interception during the game with Panthers. Penalties? They tied their season high with the earlier game with Stealers.

They have a lot of work to do before the playoffs to tighten up on many levels IMHO

    SKOL Vikes!
