Vikings vs Eagles

It’s been nine long years since the Vikes were in the championship game and this will be the tenth visit in team history.
The early line has Minnesota by three. I don’t anticipate a high scoring game and hope there isn’t a snowstorm or anything that factors heavily in the outcome. Would be nice to get out to an early lead and force Philly into passing more than they’d like.
I was more concerned about the Saints than the Eagles, but playing outdoors in late January in a pretty hostile stadium kinda evens things out.
    Vikes 19-13

I think Jacksonville has a decent chance against the Patriots.

I think this week it is not so much drama… we “should” shut them down defensively and our offense should be able to score 24 or so points. I say Vikings by 10. I would love the Jags to win but…. not likely in Foxborough.

Defensive battle, 17-9 as Mission Minneapolis becomes a reality!

The vaunted Jags defense just gave up 42 points, if Pitt had come out prepared to play and not given Jax points it wouldn’t have been close. The Pats are always ready to play, and rarely give anything away so I don’t see this one being close. 42-17 Pats.

The Eagles have a very stout defense and one of the best O-lines in football. If Foles has some confidence in him now after that 1st playoff win it could be tough.
Sendejo was concussed. People don’t talk about him much, but he is big in the secondary. Notice what happened in the second half after he was out against the Saints.
Weather should be a non-factor since its supposed to be in the low 50’s. Probably upper 40’s around game time.
I am thinking it will be a close game, my outlook is so much different now that the Vikings came out on the positive side of a heart-wrenching play for a change, but I am just going to enjoy the ride.

If they are favoring the Vikes by 4 then they actually are more than a touchdown favorite because of the location.

As a non Viking fan, I still want them to beat the Eagles, and if the Patriots advance to the SB I want the Vikes to completely destroy the Patriots on National TV.
I’m so sick of the Patriots and I think the Vikes have the best team left int the competition.

Agree on Pats…. something to be said for organizations that can consistently win at the highest level…. but if it’s not my team I still hate it (plus just gets old and boring).

I believe the Vikes have the better team, but not by much. It’s really anybody’s game. Hopefully, our D gets some turnovers and we play clean. Vikes win 17-6.

I just hope its not as close a game as last weekend. Talk about a roller coaster ride. Just blow them out Vikes.

I think I may be the only one hoping for a Pats-Vikes SB. If we could be the team to deflate the Patriots. I’m all for that!

As for Sunday I’m guessing a low scoring battle. 14-10 vikes with at least one defensive TD.

Viking got a gift last week, and the home field is not longer in their favor. The officials did not hurt the Vikings last week either, don’t see that happening in Philly.

Sorry Viking fans, 34 – 23 Eagles Fly over the Vikings. The line tells you that Vegas wants money on the Vikings.

Only 17% of tickets go to each team. I can’t imagine it would be anywhere near last Sunday’s game.

Finally a gift that went the Vikings way once. That home field advantage has worked great this year, just ask the Steelers, Chefs, and Rams. No stopping the Kings of the North after that gift last Sunday……..no way.

I don’t know about that, I remeber an obvious non call of pass interference when Thielen went up for the ball on the sideline and was pulled down as the ball flew over his head. Vikes ended up punting, that noncall took them out field goal range at the least.
Everyones favorite Romo even saw that then chalked it up as the refs letting the players play ball. How does a guy catch a ball while being yanked down?

Without sendaho playing it could be a toss up. If lessons learned from last weak play by the defense in the second half I would say the Vikes win. Vikes must have a clean game to win and tackle well.

At this point there are only two teams left in each conference. If a official blows a call that teams fans will cry all winter. Just the way things are. Sad thing is review will not change minds. When we look through the colored lens we see what we want to see.

I would love to see the Vikings advance. However I have seen them fail before so it’s not sacred ground.

Lets hope for a good clean game with no controversial calls.
