I mostly want to wipe that arrogant grin off Sean Payton’s face. He and that POS Greg Williams are solely responsible for the dirty play in 09. Unfortunately no one besides Robison was there that day and it was a long time ago.

Kings of the North roll. A cheap shot at Payton on the sideline is fair play IMO. I forgive but I don’t forget those cheaters. This will be a physical game like no other.

Saints haven’t won an away game since November 12 either and that was against Bills. Different beast on the road.

When I saw the subject “Vikes by 8” I thought “Does he mean the year 3008???”

I’m really nervous for the game on Sunday, I think because in theory this should be the hardest game we’ll have before the super bowl. If we can get past the Saints then there’s no excuse for not beating the Falcons/Eagles.

For my own sanity I have to be prepared. I’ve witnessed all four Super Bowl losses, attended the 98 championship game and on and on.
I hope you’re right! If we were to meet New England in the Super Bowl I think the Vikes would be overwhelming fan favorites around the country.

I’d like to see 3 first half blow outs in a row and the Vikings win the superbowl…aren’t we owed that?

Rhodes closed has had an incredible season, here are the top WR’s stats against him: Julio Jones 2 catches 18 yards, Michael Thomas 5 for 45; Antonio Brown 5 for 62; Mike Evans 7 for 67; Sammy Watkins 2 for 24 and AJ Green 2 for 30. And Ted Ginn isn’t scaring anyone, especially Trae Waynes.

As I stated earlier Alvin Kamara is a legit threat, but I don’t see him being enough and we should roll. Hopefully Zimmer let’s Payton and Brees know that the North Remembers!!! SKOL!!

Agree! I’m more nervous about Cam Jordan than their receivers, he’s a beast that could put Keenum on the bench with one hit.
Our defense, including coaches, is the best we’ve seen since arguably the seventies. I think the Saints will fail on many third down attempts thus getting Brees off the field.

Now you are drinking the kool-aid with both hands. My knees and ankles will never be the same after jumping on and off that bandwagon as a kid. I may be a slow learner, but eventually I do catch on. Trust me, you couldn’t dig deep enough with a backhoe to find those feeling you speak of.

I don’t think this one will be close. I just don’t see the Saints scoring points on this defense. The Saints have lost three games since Thanksgiving, scored 1 garbage time TD on the Vikes before this defense knew they were any good, and largely relied on Brees picking apart a zone coverage Panthers team.

Rhodes closed on M. Thomas
Trae is as good as T. Ginn
Our linebackers can stop the run and cover the TE, and we haven’t even mentioned our best defender, H. Smith.

We score 28-31 points, the Saints pile on some garbage points late. 31-17 Vikes!

This is a much different team than the one in 98!
