The Vike fans are feeling good about winning the last two. But let’s face it, it was two bad teams.

The Pack fans are down after that egg they laid in AZ.

The one thing we know about the NFL is that neither of these are predictors for the game ahead.

I’m not going to post any smack talk today as I think these two teams are going to play twice. I’ll save it for a week.!! )

Eye – Saving your “smack talk” “for a week” is basically smack talk for saying the Pack is cashing it in on Sunday but will win a week later.

Are The Vikes really giving 4.5 points in this game??? I like the position the Vikings are in. Win the game and we get a home playoff game (albeit against a tough Hawks team…) and lose and we play back in GB or better yet Wash. As a Vikes fan i’m OK with us losing Sunday nights night. I don’t wanna’ play the Seachickens…

The pack won’t play like they did against the cards, because the Vikings are nowwhere close to as good as the Cardinals. Personally I don’t think either team is going to win more than one playoff game, but I have been wrong before. 😨

IMO, that’s exactly the point. The Vikes have the chance to prove if they have the potential to me more than a one and done playoff team. They had the Cards on the mat, and mental mistakes resulted in total failure to seal the deal. Classic sign of an immature team and inexperienced coaching staff. Both of which will quickly fail in playoff situations.

The Vikes may well win this one simply because it’s not really do or die for either team, but they have to be much more mentally engaged.

The Vikings I believe, have only beaten 2 teams with winning records. They did play a good game against the Cardinals, but a loss is a loss. I have little to no faith in Bridgewater. Any team that shuts down AP, and says beat us in the air has for the most part done well against us. Bridgewater has looked much better the last few games and did look pretty good against the Cardinals. He shouldn’t have taken the sack and lost the ball, but that was all on coaching IMHO. They shouldn’t have ever ran that last play, just kick the field goal. Terrible coaching and have no faith in their kicker. Remember first and foremost. The Vikings being a MN team have no chance of winning the big game. I learned that back in 1998. I was sure they had what they needed to win and I wrote them off ever since. It’s not in the cards. 😢

Sorry, I thought this thread was about the sunday night vikes pack game.. I was replying to the post about the vikes not being anywhere close to as good as arizona. Cards had a dream schedule and IMO are overrated. Making it far in the playoffs is a whole different conversation that MN,GB, Ari, shouldnt even be associated with..

No reason to believe either team will play well Sunday night.

I believe the Vikes have the players and coaching to be considered a legitimate Super Bowl contender this year. I think with the way Green Bay’s O Line is so beat up they probably are not a SB contender this year, but I would never bet against #12.

There is plenty of reason’s to believe both teams will play well on Sunday Night. With coaching being at the top of the list; McCarthy and Zimmer are both excellent. I have been impressed with both teams D’s mental toughness. The Pack were embarrassed last week. The Vikes were embarrassed when they played Green Bay at home. The Vikes want that Division title and I don’t think GB gives it up without a fight. I just hope we have better reffing than we have seen in a lot of games this year.

Lots of purple cool-aid being drunk around here…and apparently in Vegas as well. And I’m as big a Viking rube as there is.

It’s not drinking Kool Aid to see the Vikes defense is legit. It’s not drinking Kool Aid to see AP is still at or near the top of his game. It’s not drinking the Kool Aid to see the Vikings receiving core as good enough to compete for the Super Bowl, they proved it vs. Denver and Arizona. It’s not drinking the Kool Aid to recognise the Vikings Special Teams are among the league leaders.

The on huge question mark is the O Line, which has played it’s best football of the year the past 2 weeks.

So drinking the Vikings Kool Aid, why not?

Well for all teams but 1, they will end the playoffs with a loss…. pretty bold prediction coming from you…. rotflol moon that is how it works. The way I look at tonight’s game, win and play Seattle next week or lose and play the Fudgeis… I don’t care either way because… once in the playoffs, you have to win every game no matter who you play.

I wrote in my blog at the start of Decemeber. The Vikes have 3 ways they can get to the Super Bowl. This is what I wrote and I’m sticking to it.

It’s now December and the Vikes at 8-3 are very much in the race to the Super Bowl at this point. These are three paths on how I could see it happening. Yes, this year. All that has to happen is for one of them to happen in each of the games needed to get us there.

    1. Vikings shut down D.

This Zimmerman Defense is for real. If they keep it dialed up, we could go.

    Or

    2. AP goes MVP.

He’s proven he’s still capable of going off. If he does, we could go.

    Or

    3. Teddy and our receiving core step forward.

Teddy and our receivers have played ok to mediocre all season. We’ve got the weapons. If he and our receiving core get hot, we could go.

Ya, ya, ya…And the Twins have 2 world series ships’ and the Brew Crew have uummmm none…live in the present and not the past my friend. The present is now and we just beat the Pack… A Pack team that has a QB that just is not the same. I have been a Rodgers fan for years but his decision making is not the same. He is the problem for the Pack right now…
