Vexilar with amped battery

    I have a flx-12 with a 12v 12ah amped outdoors lithium battery and I am wondering if I should run it with the red vexilar fuse that comes with all the vexilars or not?

    Yes. Run it with the fuse.

    I like this discussion. Justed looked closer and sure enough there is the red fuse box / holder and the little 3A fuse on my Vexilar.

    Anyone ever have a fuse burn-out on their unit ??

    Picked of 3 or 4 extra purple 3A fuses for my ice tackle box. That is one thing I do not want to be missing … certainly not adding much weight.

    I had one on a Marcum, but I am 99% certain I just got a bad fuse because I replaced it, and it’s never been a problem since.
