Vexilar Transducer question

I know that this picture is pretty blurry and maybe be hard to see, but the wire is starting to separate from the transducer. What’s a easy/cost effective fix for this as buying a new ducer is out of the option at this point due to money?

I used shoe goop on one of my older ice ducees with great success. Make sure its hanging straight down when glueing and drying though or will shoot to the side.

I was also told to use “Liquid Tape”, has anyone heard if this is as effective?

I have used gorilla glue to fix the exact same thing. Make sure it is hanging straight down during the cure time but that stuff dries hard like a resin and keeps the water out. Just be careful because it does expand as it cures. So a little goes a long way.
