    I don’t understand how this one works??? Looks like it’s an open water one, but I see the bubble level on top?

    It attaches to an aluminum tube that connects to an elbow that attaches to the blue box, its like the original vexilar transducer… it can also attach the bottom of a boat or canoe floor… the bubble is a level….

    Correct Iceager. It can connect to a trolling motor too. I’ve used wood or aluminum for the upright with a spring clamp. Works good and is portable.
