I ran across one of these for sale on Facebook. I’ve thought about upgrading my FL8se Flasher and also I’ve thought a camera would be a not necessary but fun cool tool to have. This would kill two bird with one stone.

Anyone have any experience with the Double Vision? How is the weight and bulk of the unit? Does it run off just 1 battery? Which ducer does the FL 20 come with?

To be honest I didn’t even realize that they had such a thing. It must have been something that they sold for a short time. Doing some research I see Info. on it in a few articles in 2018 so the unit is probably not that old. I know its been 2-3 years since that that that style of the FL-20. I myself am not a big fan of Camera’s. I played with one for a few years and found myself spending more time playing with it than fishing. If you have a perm. house and stay in one place for long periods It may be fun to have this setup. If you are more of a run and gun style of fishermen I don’t think this be what you want.

I had one a few years back before getting a few Helix Models and Marcum LX6s Models – They are pretty bulky to carry but easy to view as well. In my opinion while I love cameras and they are fun, I think you’re far better off upgrading your flasher for more target seperation. Once I went to a Graph style vs Traditional Flasher I can’t go back. Any movement on the bottom are fish

Ran one for a few years. Great concept, similar to the LX 9 system. They are bulky to haul around and at that time the battery life did not last. With today’s lithium’s they will probably work out better. The camera itself was excellent. One of the better camera’s for the time. If it was me, I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it if priced right, but would separate them out and make them individual units. I do not recall what transducer mine ran, i want to say it was a dual beam and you could select which beam you want.

would you be interested in one. I have a double vision but it would need a battery and then you would have to add your flasher to it. I did add the DVR to it also. I might sell it as is if someone really wanted one or keep it and add a lithium battery and a FLX 28 head to it next season. Also have parts to move the camera to a boat for summer time use (just need to look through my stuff to find it all). The soft case for it is shot because it had a bad zipper so I got rid of the case. I would throw in a lead battery if you didn’t want to go buy a lithium.
a lithium battery does make the unit lighter overall.
