either take them back to where you bought them,or call them,if that doesnt work, and if you paid for them with a credit card, call the card holder, they will take care of it for you.
card companies will go to bat for you,I have had to have them help me with problems.
Learn to buy things from scheels. They stand behind everything they sell.
I have been wearing muck boots for the last 5 or so years. I haven’t broken a lace or even had to bend over and tie them, or had to bend over to untie them. I have two pairs, wetlands and artic pros. My leather red wings haven’t seen the light of day in a long time.
Curious what sock you wear in the mucks. My feet seem to sweat terrible in them. Cotton or wool doesn’t matter.

I can’t wear muck boot either. I can literally wring sweat out of my socks at the end of the day. And I’m talking light, breathable poly socks. Mucks are good boots. But they don’t work for all of us.
I have found that Rockys quality has really diminished in the last 5+ yrs, I have switched to Danner and been very happy with there product.
And so James, what boot do you wear? Thanks in advance of a reply.

I have been wearing the compression socks under the knee high cabelas heavyweight sock this winter season and have been very happy with the warmth quality. The compression sock does seem to increase circulation, thus my feet stay warmer
You need two pair of socks guys. A poly sock directly against your skin and then a wool or some other derivative over. The poly will pull moisture from your foot but if there isn’t another layer there is nowhere for it to go.

If I wear a wool sock I sweat so much it is unbelievable. I wear the light sock to help with chaffing more than anything. When I add a second wool sock layer my feet come out of my boots at the end of the day soaked. To be honest I’m better off not wearing any socks at all.

My last two pairs of boots have been LaCrosse Ice King Alphas. They’ve been discontinued. Or at least that’s my understanding. I have a decent sized cut/gash in one of my boots so I’ve been contemplating “what’s next” since the ALPHAS are no longer available. I’very been watching this thread to see what everyone is recommending / having good luck with.
The regular LaCrosse Ice Kings are what I have and are still offered. Heavy but very warm.
I have a pair of rocky boots I got about 12 years ago. They have been worn less than 15 times. The sole is rubbing apart. Apparently was a pretty big issue with them around that time. When it happened I talked to rocky and they pretty much told me it was my fault. Even though a quick google search returns plenty of people who had the same issue.
I just picked up a pair of La Crosse boots. I thought about muck style boots but I sweat a ton and I’m not sure they would fit under my rain gear pants.
LaCrosse Alpha Burly is the boot for me. 1600 mg. I wear ankle socks out in any weather and I’m warm all day.
