Vertical Jigging Tubes LOTW’s Muskies

I watched the excellent video recently released, on jigging tubes for muskies in fall in the Angle. I am a long time fall Muskie fisherman on LOTW’s, and have never tried this. I want to try it this October on my trip (I’m Canadian), and have a few questions if anyone can help. It looked like Pat and Joe were fishing at the edge of the shallow ledge around islands, where the bottom dropped off into deeper water. Were all these spots in current areas? Were they right on the top edge of the drop off, or up on the ledge, or down off the ledge in deeper water? There isn’t much water deeper than 25 feet in that area, so do I need to concentrate in areas that do have depths to 40 or 50 feet adjacent to them? Any other tips? Thanks.

there was a TON of current up there last fall due to the very high water. we spent our time trolling, but the buddies with us had some success jigging tubes and Bondys in very deep water (40′) in narrows where the current was pumping through.
