Varget

Anyone seen any 8lb jugs of Varget anyware yet?

Picked up something thats going to be eating some, with a 8 twist.

More then likely
23.7 gr. to 24 gr. of Varget
CCI small rifle bench rest primers – Federal small rifle match are no where to be found.
75 gr. A-max

The short answer is no. I wouldn’t hold out for any either. Buy Varget when/wherever you can find it in whatever size you can get.

When it comes in at mail order places it is sold out within minutes, so unless you get a hot tip and move fast, forget it. I found a mail order place last winter that had #1 pounders so maxed out and bought 12.

It is getting better in that at least I’m seeing the in-demand powders like Benchmark, Varget, XBR in #1 on a regular basis. The sad part is the “new” price is $29-35 per pound.

I’ll post if I ever see any #8 as I check many reloading sites often.
