I am contemplating getting rid of my 09 TP 185. It has a 150 Yamaha with under 200 hours a 9.9 kicker. I have a 998si on council and 597 on the bow with a pd70 with ipilot and 6 scotty rod holders. The boat is in excellent condition inside and out and I also have a marine radio, custom rocket launchers and two big Jon down riggers for it. I do not need to sell it but I am just looking to upgrade to a similar boat maybe trophy or another Tournament but the sport with a full windshield.

What would be a fair price to ask for this?

It’s worthless, zero value. I’ll come haul it away for you and save you the hassle. devil

Kidding! Have you tried Kelly Blue book to estimate a value? They do values on them too…at least for the hull, motor and trailer. May have to hand figure your extras. Then, be honest with yourself and ask, if you were in the market for a boat like this, “What would I be willing to pay for it?” What you want to get out of it and the answer to that question will give you a ballpark range, at least.

Nice boat! I couldn’t find any real good comps currently for sale in a quick search so tough to say. Upper teen’s or low 20’s?? List it for what you want and see if it goes. At this point in the year, you might be better off waiting until next year tho. Good luck!

Thank you I have checked the books and I also don’t see may come up for sale so it is hard to tell what they are selling for. I love the layout and the storage of the boat but would like the windshield for many reasons. I may stop into the shop this fall and see what my options are.

I would agree with BigWerm on this in that unless you are in some kind of hurry, hold off until next spring. My experience on the other side of the equation…a couple years ago when looking to buy a used boat starting in early spring, every thing I was looking at in my price range was snapped up before I could even go look at it. It wasn’t until the following fall that I finally found one and it was easily $2,000 less than the exact same thing the previous spring. So…something to think about? idea

@gunsmith89 Let us know what you find out. I’m on the other side of the fence as a buyer. Looking at similar boats to yours. I haven’t figured out yet what’s a good deal and what’s highway robbery.

I like the idea of that 09-011 with a couple hundred hours. Still holding out for a full windshield though. Don’t need it for 80% of my fishing but the week or two in Canada can be pretty brutal weather.

Unless you guys have a wife that goes with you alot keep the single console. If your buddy complains tell him to chip in 1/2 on the payments and you will get him a windshield. grin

You will be losing a lot of space you are accustom to having.
