I know they all are constantly improving, but does anyone here have comments good or bad in the last few years with any of the hydraulic frames listed??

    Any catastrophic failures?

    Bent axles?

    Funny wearing tires?

    Any experience with galvanized?

I have a 17′ single axle valley galvanized hydraulic frame. No issues, but haven’t used a ton, couple 8,000 miles maybe?

I follow ice castle owners group pretty closely and have several buddies I run with that have castles. I’m sure they are both pretty similar but if I was in the market for an ice castle I’d get a berkon hydro galvanized. Just my opinion. No personal experience, just from buddies houses. I like how high they sit in the travel position.

Thanks Beardly, but I didn’t see one come through?

Weird… It was basically echoing what drifter stated. If you have a facebook look up Ice Castle Owners Group. TONS of information and ideas on Ice Castles. The owners of Berkon, GS, and Valley are all active on that site as well. All seem to be very responsive to customers. My uncle has a Berkon from 2014 and has not had any problems. Right now I have a crank frame and when/if I go bigger it would be a Berkon. Good luck in your search!
