Looking to buy a utility trailer something around 7’x12′. Where is a good place to purchase one? I would be interested in a used one also. Thanks

You can buy the Menards, Home Depot stuff or there are dealers for better trailers all around the cities.

I have a pj and it is a great trailer. Solid. I bought it at absolute trailer in inver grove heights. Don’t buy a Menards or norther tool they are built poorly.

Do yourself a favor and go find an Aluma dealer. Buy aluminum, take care of it and don’t look back. No rust, paint peeling, etc. Awesome trailers… You won’t be disappointed.

M&G Trailers in Ramsey has a great selection and good prices…I agree with those saying to buy Aluminum, all of my trailers are aluminum…

Craigslist will get you the best price, but it might take awhile to find exactly what you’re looking for.

X2 on M&G trailer, they have a lot of options in aluminum (aluma, h&h, & triton) and steel. Great guys up there. Looks like they might be a bit out of the way for you but give them a call.

when you say utility, are you talking to haul the mower around or to throw 50 pound pieces of cut wood in repeatedly grin that would make a difference for me, of going with steel or alum. blush

I bought mine 5×8 from M&G 3 years ago. Its been rock solid and I use it all the time but I want to sell it. I should have bought bigger.

The best trailer is the one that your friend owns! )

Seriously, though, my buddy has one of those fold-up deals from Northern Tool. It does the trick, but it’s not well-built. Pretty much every time I borrow it, I end up fixing something on it.

I don’t want to start a brand war, but Floe and Aluma would be the two brands I look at…I own 2 Floe trailers, love them….

I have a PJ utility trailer. 83″x14′. It has a fold down ramp in the back and side ramps in the front to side load an ATV.
Overall I like the trailer, way more convenient than what I was using previously a 2 place snowmobile trailer. I wanted to be able to run my ATV onto the trailer with the fish house attached. This fit the bill.
Its a heavy beast though. I have no complaints about durability because it will certainly handle heavy loads BUT I hate the fact it is 2 years old and it has surface rust everywhere. I am going to be treating it this summer with a product that will prevent it in the future (hopefully). That is my only gripe.
An aluminum equivalent would have been double the price. yes, aluminum is nice, but it comes with a cost and I wasn’t in a position at the time to afford one.
