I’ve used the locks quite a few times so not new to it but recently I’ve had a few questions pop up. Are the slow-no wake zones around the locks the same at each lock or does it change depending on the lock and the lockmaster? If you are in the lock with other non-commercial vessels can you pass them in the lock or while leaving the lock? I have read up on the corps website just wanted to know what people here would say.

The wall on both ends of the locks are “slow no wake zones”.

I don’t know the answer to your last question, I would just guess that as long as your vessel doesn’t go above the no wake speed you could. I’ve seen it happen and the lock operator didn’t throw a fit. (like they will if a wake follow us into the lock chamber)
