Using GPS on Helix 7?

    When I hook up my Helix 7 for ice fishing (no transducer) it automatically goes into ‘simulation’ mode. Anyone know how to get it out of simulation mode (without a transducer) to use the GPS feature for ice fishing?

    I went thru the same thing for 2 years, then I kept fiddling with it and sure enough I got it. Sorry but can’t remember how.

    FYI – I first actually talked to the bird people at the Ice show and they couldn’t figure it out.

    During power up hit the “Menu” button on the screen that says the model name on it and select “Normal” mode.
