My dealer gave no issues to me. And this was a 16 ram.

I can only speak to Chrysler vehicles but, if they are brought in correctly, the warranty is able to be changed to the US market. Most dealerships will bring them in correctly, so they have warranty. Some are brought in by third party brokers and do not have warranty here. I can attest, they do not pay for claims on these gray market vehicles ! ALL vehicles will have recalls honored, regardless of registration.

I’m guessing mine was brought in correctly then ? I have no idea on the details. Just that they fixed my stuff under warranty when I broke it.

Alot of GM vehicles in the North are produced in Canada. This gives them a Canadian MSC/MCO. If they are new when they come to the US it does not matter. If they were brought in to the US used then alot of things can go wrong. An EPA check is required as well as customs paperwork. Carfax isn’t a great picture of a used vehicle, if a repair or incident isn’t repaired by a dealer or major repair shop it wont be on Carfax.

My used 2019 F150 came from Canada. The dealer never reset his Home Address on the GPS, which was yet another clue that it came from there. lol.

I was looking for a 6.5 ft box, which is hard to find, so I was glad to find this one. Love the truck

From the little research I did, Fords do not matter, the warranty transfers. It looks like GM vehicles have a 6 month wait period & 12,000km before the GM warranty is turned back on. That was what I found googling.

Just bought a 2500 GMC duramax denali with 11,000 miles on it and had a few small things fixed on it under warranty. This is a 2022 and came from Canada. Different dealer then where I bought it and no questions asked.
