Used 1198c non HD

    Looking for a legacy series 1198c used. Anyone out there upgrading and are looking to sell there 1198 non HD give me a shout. Thanks.

    I didn’t know there were non hd 1198’s.

    Yes, I am looking for a 1198c Si with the external GPS puck not the newer 1198c HD SI with internal GPS. Here is one I found on eBay.

    FYI,
    You can still use an external GPS puck when it has an internal GPS.
    You just make the selection on the menus.

    There is no such thing as a non-HD 1198.

    There is only an 1198c SI or 1197c SI. Both took external GPS receivers.

    The newer version you’re describing which has an internal GPS receiver, is the 1199ci HD SI. It can be hooked up to an external receiver also, but does not come with one.

    Maybe that will help with your search. You will only find one version of the 1198.
