Is there a way to connect a Ridgid Lithium Ion 18V battery to a Gamin Striker 4? I am not sure if adapters from online stores fit, so I think maybe there’s a way to DIY it. Thanks for any ideas.

Background 1: I have two of those batteries. They are in very good shape, but I barely have the chance to use them with the power tool.

Background 2: Some one on Youtube showed 8 AA batteries in a holder worked find for his Gamin Striker 4. These Ridgid batteries should be doing even better.

Lots of folks power livescope off their contractor batteries. Buying a battery just for sonar isn’t cost effective, but if you have the batteries for work, why not use them. You can buy a see-lite adapter to mate them up.

Thanks for the idea. I checke see-lite adapters online. From what I saw, it won’t fit with my batteries.

I ended up with DIY. With two alligator clips and some rubber pieces tightly held inside a used nail plastic box, the wire is firmly connected to my Garmin Strike 4.

    Thanks…
