Great game tonight by the US Women. Beat the #1 team in the world (Germany) 2 – 0. On to the Final on Sunday. I know there are people on here who are not soccer fans but for those of us who enjoy the game it was a big win.
I tuned it to portions of the match. Hard to lose when you haven’t given up a single goal. They caught a break on the missed penalty kick. Created some good opportunities and converted when they needed.
World Cup soccer (men or woman) is the only soccer I’ll watch, last nights game was fun to watch, the US could have put the game away early but failed to capitalize on several grade A chances. I’ll tune in for the championship game this weekend.
Good for them. Seriously. I didn’t watch, but I’m not going to rip on any other sport. I may catch the game this Sunday if I remember.
And we get anther chance to beat the Japanese. Terrible way for England to lose on an own goal. Feel really bad for the England player. Hope we can beat the Japanese in the rematch of four years ago.
