I am planning on launching at Wm Obrien this weekend and trying to motor downriver to the Apple River delta area. I have never boated this stretch before. With a 17 ft v-hull boat and a motor with tilt/trim, do you think I will be able to get down that way without encountering numerous navigation hazards? With the St Croix Falls guague currently reading 4.5 ft, I could typically motor cautiously upstream from wm. obrien, but I don’t know what the downstream conditions would be. Thanks
