Upper Red mid July

    Possibility of making a trip up in mid July. Have never been up there during open water. What would be your tactic to start? From what I read so far, gold spinners on bottom bouncers dragging a crawler.

    Any advice is much appreciated!

    I would think trolling cranks at 2.7-3.0 mph would get you bit pretty often.
