I heard Spencer got a foot of the white stuff yesterday. How much did you get around you?? Has it been cold enough for the sloughs to freeze good down there? The cattails should be the place to be right now.
Yes Mike we got around 10″‘s and it’s calling for 1-2″s more tonight.We need some good cold stuff for the cattail areas.I’ve seen lots of birds the last 2 nights coming home from work.Take care Mike.

We got about two inches here in cedar rapids last night, no ice yet except in the wheelbarrow and cartire swing, no ice along the rivers edges yet. I think the lowest its gotten here is 16 degrees at night. You guys are getting all the moisture. Almost every day has been above 32 degrees.
