I have never seen this many birds around MN in my pheasant hunting years. We saw groups of 30 40 birds this weekend, its by far the best I have ever seen!

We were pushing corn, sloughs, and CRP. The big numbers of birds came from the corn fields but good numbers of birds every where! The road count reports that were up earlier are nowhere near correct in the south east parts of MN its by far better.

The bat’s died in the camera so heres a great shot of my picnic table

The areas I usally hunt are anywhere from Rochester to Red Wing. I have been just driving around til I find corn then I try and get permission.

Lots of birds around I guess all these no snow winters were good for something besides keeping my sleds in good shape!
