    I’ll be “hunting” with my buddy on Sunday. Watching anyway. He has a new pup so it should be fun.

    I am gonna try but we have noticed that a lot of doves seemed to have left right before the warm up. My brother in law in Kansas said his spots saw an increase last week. Have a spot that has evergreens and water hole. 2 weeks ago hundred or so flying around this week saw about a dozen. Although wheat has been harvested since then so that opened up new food sources.

    I think I’m going to go with my bro-in-law on Sunday. Since I haven’t picked up a shotgun since the 2012 pheasant season, it’ll be nice to shoulder a scatter blaster again.

    There were LOTS of doves around our area this year. My buddy to the west reports over 50 shot opening day. I can only imagine how many shells that took!
