Iowa Opener Anyone?

    We’ll be hitting it Sat with one or two 2-man fire teams. Either that or one 3-man hit squad. All seasoned killers with mature dogs.
    Not expecting too much but hate to miss it. Last year there was so much corn standing it was ridiculous. Now with all this rain I’m expecting the same thing. Late season is where we really shine down there. With bird numbers down it will be more of a challenge this year.

    I will be down, expect to have our limit by 10am 8 guys.

    Helps growing up there, and knowing all the landowners. Lots of birds to be had since all the corn is out.

    Northern Winnebago county. On the Kossuth and Winnebago line 7 miles from MN border. Buffalo Center Iowa is where I grew up.

    We had 11 guys and 33 birds by around 2:30. Lots of birds.
