What do you think if anything the rain will do to the Pheasant Population? I was told last night that a feild we usually hunt on openner is under water. Good thing we’re not going out on the openner this year!

I think they will be just fine. They will head for high ground like the tree groves around houses that will provide cover.

There will be plenty for you to swing, miss and swear at.

Dunnell had about 4″. 15 miles to the north in Trimont had 11″.

The hardest part on birds during those downpours is getting themselves dried off so they can escape predators. The will move to dry ground, but if a hungry critter comes along, they can’t fly as easily.
