    Also pretty interested to see the numbers this year.

    I must say that after the winter we had, I am pretty shocked at the number of birds I have been seeing each day.

    Have a friend in the Morris area and he told me this last weekend he had to stop the truck for a hen and chicks. He said the brood couldn’t have been more than a week or 2 old. 3rd. hatch?

    I saw quite a few driving around the Lake Emily area a couple of weeks ago. I don’t know what the numbers look like around my Dad’s place (East Central MN), but there are always some and sometimes a lot.
