Anyone been out chasin birds around the Sioux City area lately? Harvest nearing completion? Heading out to the Sioux CIty area at the end of the week to chase some pheasants around. Hunted some public areas out there last year on opening weekend, but it was awfully wet and windy that weekend and didn’t produce to many birds. Plan on hitting the same areas again and was curious how the numbers were and how the harvest was going. I think I was near the towns of Hornick and Salix, all public ground that required steel shot, awesome large tracts of upland/wetland areas out there.
