I have an 8-in-1 pheasant hunting coat from Cabelas. On the back there are two clips over the pouch and I don’t know what they are for. You can disconnect them and they are adjustable nylon straps. Anyone know what they are for?
Yes.. in Wisconsin, you have to wear a license number on your back when afield, my best guess anyways. i have bought gear with the same thing 
I have a vest that has the 2 straps on the outside of the game bag. They are used for extra gear like a rainjacket or whatever.
