Pheasant report

    I opened down around Delavan MN. Started on filter-strips no birds to speak of lots and lots of crops still in. So switch 2 ducks. Got my 2 woodies off of small cricks. Sun morn busted ice 2 get the decoys out Got 1 malard and a woodie. Pheants were a BUST.

    I had one get up and if I would have had a short stick or a large rock I could have killed it. I was on the way back from sitting with the wife in the blind and it scared the heck out of me. I wont be taking the dogs out this year until the last day of this month. Hopefully some better weather is in store so the harvest can get started by then.
