Hey Guy’s, I’ve noticed a ton of bright red berries this fall. What are they, does anybody know? I don’t remember seeing this many in years past. They’re everywhere now. A buddy shot a couple grouse while deer hunting this weekend and they had them in their crops.

Ferny, I too have noticed this in Central MN. No idea what it means.
Ferny, what you’re seeing are Dogwood trees. I’m not sure why you’re seeing more of them this year than in years past. But they are a favorite food of grouse. Whenever I hunt, I make sure to work the areas with those trees very well.
