I’ll be heading back to my Dad’s place to hunt Fri – Mon. Just wondering if anybody has been out yet in that region and if they saw many birds. Numbers are reported to be way down. On top of that a lot of corn is still in the field, so it may be a very tough hunt.
It’s still gonna be a blast though! 
PS – Was out with a buddy in West Central WI on Saturday and had our limit in about 45 minutes. Saw five roosters and two hens. Looks like bird numbers up here are very good.
I spent the weekend in Iowa and the corn was a killer, very few fields had been harvested. 8 of us manage 15 birds on Sat and 10 on Sunday. Hit the switch grass early!! We had 9 birds and 7 birds in the first hour out on sat and Sunday, after that they were in the corn making it very difficult to get them out. With the high wind on Sunday a lot of corn was knocked down this will delay the harvest with a lot of the fields only being able to cut from one way. Bird numbers seemed good just hard to get them out of the corn.
