I used to have a recipie for Potpie made with Pheasant. It used bisquits and you’d roll them out and make individual pies….. the wife packed them away with the cookbooks and I can’t find them. Does anyone know of a recipie like that? I looked on the internet, but only found ones for a “pie” sized dish.

I dont have the small dish recipie, but I eat most of my pheasant by making the large pot pie. It is one of the best meals around. I would imagine you could stir up some variation from the standard pot pie recipie. soo good

did you try this site, chappy?
theres more than 1,000 recipes for pot pies. none specifically for pheasant, but i’m sure any of the recipes for chicken pot pie would work. they run the gamut from ready-made crusts and canned or frozen vegetables to everything from scratch.
if you search “pheasant,” theres tons of other recipes, too.
we have found several good wild game recipies at that sight.
