Does anyone hunt the WMA’s south of Rochester? don,t need any specifics just wondering if its worth spending the gas and time to check them out. I consider it a sucsessful day if I can put up 4 or 5 birds. Thanks for any info.
i have never been to the WMA’s south of rochester but have been to 1 east of rochester by RCTC. i can’t tell you the name of it off the top of my head. was just in there walking around checking out the place and kicked up 5 or 6 birds 3 or 4 roosters and a couple hens… hope this helps some, i can do more looking and try to figure out which one i wendt to out there 
It’s been a few years but I think there is a spot by Chatfield I hunted but did not see any birds. I have also hunted a spot near Kellogg but that was hit and miss and has a lot of deer hunters around. Last year I only got there once and saw only one bird. I have always had more luck around the Jackson MN area WMA’s.
