I’m bummed. I have never ice fished on clean ice and it looks like not this year either.

Guys- As you have seen in other posts, I have a family member who is a meteriologist. She says we are going to get whacked this weekend. Unfortunately central Minnesota will get the most, up to a foot. Pray for the light fluffy stuff. Turn on your fans and blow that white stuff of the ice that is trying to get thicker.

Yesterday I was going to say we’ll get a dusting, but now it looks like we’ll get hit. It will stay for a while too.

Looks like they got this one right. Already snowing and blowing here and I thought we were going to be on the northern edge of the system.

You’d think the fool would be sleeping so he is all rested up for the 24 hour binge of hohos and chocolate milk in the plow truck.

I hope the weather man is right on this one. The kids really want to go sleding and the dustings we’ve had so far just don’t cut it. Along with the added bonus of the moisture. The lakes sure could use a good deep winter.

The numbers look good out here. Unfortunatly for my fog lights I’ve hit two in the last week.

Our Iowa bird numbers maybe a record low. Floods hit us all during the nesting and hatch. Everyone I’ve spoke with agree it will be one of worst years for Iowa. SD here I come.
