Back when I had a lab that could hunt (she is now 15 years old and a house dog… 
) I used to spend a ton of time chasing longtails in Northern Iowa North of Mason City 
. I have a buddy that has a lab so him and I may just hit that area again this late season 
. Any idea on how bird numbers are just South of the border into Iowa 
and within 10 miles East or West of HWY 35??? Thanks! RR
