weekend hunt pics!

Had a good weekend hunting around home. I was supposed to go to a wedding with my wife but she let me stay home so the dog could get some birds in her mouth..what a great wife I have. So my buddy Jrat and his son Spencer and I got out Sat and got a few birds up in between sitting in the deer stands..Had a blast and the dogs did great. Then Spencer got his second deer Sat night..this is his first year hunting as he is only 12…way to go..His dad posted pics in the deer hunting forum..Went out on the stand Sunday morning and after seeing a few smaller bbucks and fawns I shot a nice Doe..So I went to Jrats and after a great breakfast he made…thanks by the way…and we cleaned both deer. I got home in time to give the wife some fresh backstraps on the grill as she got home from the weekend wedding….Heres a few pics..Couldnt get the deer pics downloades as they were taken on a diff camera..now I need to get the big boy..2 does in the freezer so the big guy needs to present himself..I guess we will see..Good luck to all….Jay

Renedy…the grouse are up this year on my land…north east of st.cloud, I see them almost everytime im in the stand..I just dont want to scare the deer around hunting them…one may get the arrow before the end of deer season though…Good hunting ..Jay

I used to run GSP’s with my dad. You’re pup looks almost identical to the grandmother of my father’s current dog.

I am into doing things the really really hard way so I switched to grey weimer dogs a couple years back along with the Lewellin’s I run with a buddy of mine.

This was up in Minong a couple weeks ago with the grey dogs.
