Foliage near LOW?

Can anyone from LOW or Int. Falls area tell me how the foliage is in the area. Am going up this weekend to fine tune the deer stands and want to do a little grouse hunting. Wondering how many leaves I’m going to have to deal with.

    Thanks

This probably won’t help much but in the Park Rapids area there about 70% of the leaves are gone already. Mainly Aspen and Red oaks with leaves yet, most of the maples are done.

Thanks Scott. That would mean that I’ll be pretty bare up where I’m going.

    SWEET!!

    AJ:

I am in northern WI and I would report the same as Scott did. The oaks are coming down pretty heavy right now with the wind and rain. I would say we will be leafless within a week to ten days here.

just got back from LOW yesterday, and I think you will find a minimum amount of leaves still on this on this weekend, particularly on the undergrowth. Did not really chase grouse, too much bouncing around on the waves, and as usual, the fields around Baudette sure had the deer coming out about 5:00 each evening.

I was up to Park Rapids bowhunting last night again and the aspen leaves were fully yellow and coming down fast. Should be a good weekend if there are any grouse around.
