several reports are showing up reporting seeing chicks following the hens, we havent spotted any yet but the rooster shows up alot alone, crowing and flapping his wings. Last weekend he spent most of the afternoon just walking around near the cabin and garage then eat a little corn and walk some more, the cats dont even bother him and the dog is so old he sleeps through the whole day. Im wondering if the hen is close by with her chicks, guess we will have to wait and see

had an 12+ point buck about 75 feet from the cabin with 16″ tines all in velvet, man what a deer- we were in the truck with no camera- at first glance I thought it was an elk that escaped from a game farm

are cats attracted to certain people more thaen others?? if so we dont want it!!! in less than 3 weeks we have kittens all over, 1 mother put hers in the garage, 1 mother carried her kittens up the deck and in through the open screen door (we didnt close tight) and hid them under our dresser- it didnt take Judy long to find them and show the whole family an exit sign to the outdoors but the mother in less than 1/2 hour had them back on the deck under her chair– poof!!! they were gone again and now reside under the fish house, then the log pile appeared to start moving as the wild mother cat lined up hers and headed for the deck for a lesson on how to climb up and try the new play ground out–Judy just shook her head as the kittens laid on her bare feet

    FREE KITTENS ANYONE???
