Sw Mn pheasant trip

I am going for three or fours days and not having been down in that area, I would like to know any areas that are not to be missed. It will consist of a friend and I along with my GSP. I have all the maps, Prim along with others. We plan on hunting public areas as well as knocking on a few doors. I am not looking for your best areas I am looking for general areas. If you wish to not post them here, PM are always welcome.

The windom area is putting out alot of birds.There is alot of public land in the area. We are hunting private land south of there and have shot 41 roosters in less than 20hrs of hunting.

Stop at the Windom area DNR office. they did a good job of pointing me to the more productive public areas and eliminated spots that had less birds. On the south east side of town.
