Grouse Numbers

    North of Hermantown just outside of the Cloquet Forest in approx 3 hours of walking –

    4 flushes
    2 points & two birds taken
    1 bumped bird no shot

    How is everyone else doing? Seems like there are plenty of birds in St.Louis cty ( finally! ).

    Pretty encouraged so far, I’ve been coming across pockets of 3 or 4 birds at a time…….now if my shooting can improve I may pick up a few more in the coming weeks…
