Miller South Dakota is my original home town. Yep, that is where the Gator was born.
Pheasant populations are good all over S.D. The total number of pheasants is estimated at about 9 million. You guys should knock em dead.
    Good luck.

RV, you are hunting in the heart of my “home” I grew up in Highmore, just 23 miles west of Miller. I’m told the birds are good this year. Not great, but good. They were very dry all summer, until August. The Miller area is always good though. Where do you stay?? Do you hunt private? If so, with who? I probably know them.

Good luck, I won’t be going out until later in Nov or early Dec.
